AMP Ohio Hydroelectric Facility

AMP Ohio is currently constructing a 40MW hydro-electric facility on the Ohio River in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The project proposal was gathered based on preliminary design drawings and quantities. Our offering included construction costs, design completion and
implementation of Balance of Plant I/O and controls and construction and commissioning schedule development and control.

The temporary power distribution contract comprised the installation of both aerial and underground distribution as well as 12.47kV sectionalizing cabinets, distribution transformers, power panels, stadium lighting, SF6 automatic transfer switch, and 750kW stand-by generator

AEP Clinch River Power Plant –  Gas Conversion

DPC is worked with AEP, The Perry Group and Babcock and Wilcox to convert the AEP Clinch River power plant from coal to natural gas.  DPC installed several facets of the mechanical and electrical installation, including the main feed that supplies gas to the 2 converted units.

Markwest Barnesville Compressor Station

DPC self-performed the pipe fabrication and mechanical installation of the Barnesville West Compressor Station. The project included the installation of six Caterpillar G3608 Compressor Engines, numerous process skids, towers, and vessels, and over 25,000 LF of piping within a 6 month construction schedule.

Armstrong Mineral Wool Facility

DPC completed the electrical construction for this new facility which transforms locally produced industrial slag into fine fibers used in recessed ceiling tiles.  The contract was in excess of $5 million and included the construction of a 138 kV substation.

Triad Hunter Stalder Pad Production Facility

DPC self-performed the civil, mechanical, fabrication, and electrical installation of the Stalder Pad production infrastructure project. Construction included the fabrication and installation of 18 ea – 3” flow lines from the well head to the GPU’s.  DPC also installed 8 GPU’s, dehydrators, separators, condensate tanks and a truck load out facility within a 2 month construction schedule.
